The Consequences Of Illegal Immigration In The United States Of America
Considering that the number of those who are immigrating into the United States is continuously increasing, there is not a surprise anymore that the illegal immigration problems in this country have reached a tipping point. There are many people who manage to accomplish the conditions imposed by the immigration law and they are legal immigrants. On the contrary, a part of the applicants has judicial problems related to their passports and thus they can not cross the border of the host country and start to live in there legally. They are illegal immigrants, commonly known as "aliens". Not only that the illegal immigration is unfair for the taxpayer, but it also determined the shut down of over 80 hospitals in California alone. More than that, 38% of all the hardened criminals in the Arizona prison system are illegal aliens.
The principal factor that sustains the illegal immigration is the fact that there are few businesspeople who want to exploit cheap labor. In order to eradicate this problem, its cause must be understood and end it. This means that the businessmen who hire illegal immigrants should realize that this is a typical case of human beings exploitation and that they are increasing the crime, hurting their own children's school system and bankrupting the health-care system in the United States of America, by continuing this. Starting from the idea that illegal immigration is illegal, by its nature and as the name says, it must be confronted as it is and find a viable solution, which does not bankrupt the nation. The statistics reveal that unless stopped, the illegal immigration problem which currently means around 24 million people will double in the next five to ten years. This can be translated as representing almost 15% of the United States population at that moment.
