About The Immigration Test

DNA testing is a powerful tool and sometimes it can be a controversial tool, especially when immigration DNA testing is used for relatives from other countries to enter the US more easily and legally.

The immigration test has been used for thousands of US residents that want to sponsor a relative into the country but for one reason or another they do not possess a birth certificate or any other identification to prove they are related. This is where the immigration test comes into play.

US government officials acknowledge and accept DNA testing to allow the entry of these individuals. But there is a problem with the immigration test comes in and even immigration lawyers are becoming very concerned: government officials are requiring DNA testing more and more, even when the paperwork is all in place and there is no reason.

Immigration DNA testing p[resents a few concerns. First, it increases the cost a lot and it delays the entire process. The second concern is the government itself and how much trust can people have with it. Many believe the DNA results are being turned over to agencies like Homeland Security where it is tracked in large databases.

Homeland Security officials declare that the DNA information is not retained but there is some evidence that this is lie. There are only a couple of labs in the country that are authorized to do an immigration test so although potential immigrants may request DNA testing from another type of lab such as the AABB it will not be recognized by the government.

The concerns began to arise as more and more immigration requests that have all the necessary paperwork and relatives in the US are still being requested to submit an immigration test that is done through one of the two accepted Washington labs. This is occurring after the first step of the visa application has been approved and many lawyers are wondering just why.
